Building & Being in Community
A life-long learner, community convener, adventurer, and advocate for wise change.
As an active member and volunteer in various professional associations and communities, I appreciate the opportunity to learn and support others.

Anthropology in Praxis (AP)
Co-Founder and Convener
When the community you desire doesn’t exist you create it! An official network of CASCA, the Canadian Anthropology Society, AP is dedicated to providing a forum to practicing, professional, and applied anthropologists for the exchange of ideas, information, and experiences related to the practical application of anthropology and ethnography.
EthnoCafe Calgary
Founder and Convener.
Another community born from a desire to connect in my own city. EthnoCafe is a network for anthropologists working in the Calgary area. The group is open to other trained ethnographers or anthro-informed practitioners who are applying their skills in the private and public sectors. We meet monthly to discuss our work, share lessons from the field, and explore new ideas regarding ethnographic praxis
