My experience spans industries, sectors, is community-centric, and includes process, technology, and data driven change initiatives.

I am a change leader who applies a diverse set of skills and a breadth of experience. From strategic planning to implementation to evaluation, I aim to help organizations innovate, solve complex problems, and achieve lasting results. I deeply understand the issue or opportunity, and support decision-making with disciplined research and inquiry. 

As a project manager, change leader, systems thinker, social scientist, facilitator, and experienced senior leader I adapt my tools and experience to suit the opportunity, big or small, simple or complex. I have worked with large corporations, start-ups, small and medium sized businesses, government, and non-profit groups. I’ve held senior leadership roles, managed multi-million-dollar budgets, and have worked in organizations from the ground up – rolling up my sleeves wherever needed. 

  • Business and Culture Transformation: Working with organizations to prepare for growth and scale people and processes. Utilizing research-based and globally appropriate culture assessment tools alongside facilitated conversations that provide the insights needed to design and lead action plans for transformation.

  • Social Impact and Evaluation: Program and change lead for an Alberta non-profit organization committed to disrupting human trafficking in Alberta and Canada. Led national, public, and industry specific awareness programs and partnerships. Conducted research used to influence public discourse and policy regarding human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Co-designed, implemented, and evaluated a national e-learning platform.

  • Multi-stakeholder and Cross-sector Collaboration: Led a provincial cross-sector anti-human trafficking project with a multi-disciplinary team of researchers and data experts to design and launch a new data sharing platform.

  • Executive Leadership: Provide executive leadership and operational guidance for business strategic realignment and scaling up.

  • Employee and Customer Experience: Customer and employee experience reviews through survey’s, journey maps, and semi-structured interviews. Co-designed and implemented e-learning programs to support culture change and customer experience improvements.

  • Operational Excellence Transformation: Project manager and change lead for operational excellence and safety initiatives at a major Alberta energy company. Led a multi-year, multi-million dollar process and technology implementation and post-project evaluation. Designed and implemented change management strategies.

  • Technology and Process Driven Change: Established and led organizational change management strategies and plans for multi-year technology transformation programs in the energy, telecommunications, and health care industries. Identified and established stakeholder partnerships and transformational activities supporting new innovative work environments.

  • Director Strategic Project Office: Established and led a corporate strategic project office and directed a team of project managers and business analysts. Responsible for the prioritization of corporate strategic projects and evaluating performance and impact. Established and maintained a standard project methodology, governance model, and benefit realization process.

  • Enterprise-wide Project and Change Management: Responsible for planning and executing enterprise-wide projects and change initiatives through cross-functional project teams.
    • Led multi-year enterprise technology project involving a redevelopment of a legacy application into a flexible and adaptable platform, integrating multiple technology systems and applications. Large data conversion, training, and redevelopment effort successful with minimal disruption to customer experience. Responsible for ongoing application development, implementations, and change management.
    • Full-fleet implementation of satellite television on Boeing 737 aircraft. Led the organizational transition to new operating and customer experience and service standards. The project team supported the integration of new technology and service requirements while maintaining a minimal impact to daily operations. Project of the Year finalist, Project Management Institute – Southern Alberta Chapter (PMI-SAC) 2005.
    • Led an organizational change team in preparation for an enterprise-wide application development and implementation. Established a change strategy, champion end-user network, and communication and training plans for cross-functional readiness.
    • Led the research, design, and implementation for new and continuous improvement of employee and customer experience standards.
